Football Instant Wins Explained: What You Can Win

Football instant wins are prize competitions where you find out straight away whether your entry has won something, rather than waiting for a draw at the end. This page is the starting point for football fans on OLBG Prizes: what the prizes are, how a football instant competition runs and where to find the live ones. No hype, no promises. Winning is never easy, and plenty of entries won't come out with a prize.

What football instants are

An instant win competition has a set list of prizes, and each entry is revealed as a winner or not at the point you enter. The prize list is fixed in advance, so you can see exactly what's up for grabs before you play.

The football version fills that list with things a fan would want: signed shirts, matchday hospitality, a stadium tour, a games console and a spread of cash and site credit prizes.

We've covered the longer comparison with the traditional format in instant wins vs main draws: what's the difference?. The short version: an instant tells you straight away, a main draw makes you wait.

Prize types

Here's what's on the current football instants prize list. Prizes and quantities can change between competitions, so always check the live page for the latest.

Signed shirts

This is the headline stuff for collectors and anyone of a certain age (hello, Italia 90 generation). The list includes:

Signed Stuart Pearce England 1990 home shirt
Signed Stuart Pearce England 1996 home shirt
Signed Glenn Hoddle England 1998 World Cup shirt
Signed Emile Heskey England Euro 2004 shirt
Signed Glenn Hoddle Tottenham 1986 home shirt
Signed Emile Heskey Liverpool retro away shirt
Signed Gary McAllister Liverpool 2001 UEFA Cup final shirt
Signed Gary McAllister Scotland 1991-93 shirt

There's one of each. Why do those England shirts still matter? Experiences and gaming

1 x matchday hospitality for two at the club of your choice, worth up to £1,000
4 x standard stadium tour for two at a club of your choice from our list, worth up to £75
1 x PS5 or Xbox (winner's choice) with EA Sports FC 27

These are hard to simply go and buy. For more on that idea, see money-can't-buy football experiences and how to win one, or have a look at behind closed doors at Dorking Wanderers for an example of the access on offer.

Instant cash

1 x £250
2 x £100
5 x £50
10 x £25
15 x £10

Site credit

100 x £5
380 x £2.50
715 x £1

Add it up and the smaller prizes far outnumber the big ones, as you'd expect. The shirts, hospitality and console are single prizes, so your chance of landing one of those is much slimmer than your chance of a £1 credit. Foolproof it isn't!

How a football instant competition runs

Pick your competition. Check the prize list and the entry details on the competition page.
Enter. Your result is revealed straight away.
Prizes are claimed from the fixed list. Once a prize has gone, it's gone, so the list shrinks as the competition goes on.

The prize pool is fixed, so read the terms before you enter. Only spend what you're comfortable with, treat it as entertainment and never chase a result.
